There are other events scheduled throughout the year. Check our teen website at www.accteens.org for more info.

2. Why hasn't the Senior Pastor called me or talked to me about __________?

One of the biggest challenges of a growing church is recognizing that the senior pastor cannot always respond to every person in the congregation. For this reason, we have several pastors on staff. We try to follow up on every need with the most appropriate person for the situation. However, the senior pastor is always willing to meet or talk, so feel free to call the office any time to set up an appointment.

3. What's the best way to share information with the staff?

You can call the office any time (812-254-2651)- it's open from 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday. Most of the staff have office hours of 9am-5pm and take Fridays off.

The best way to ask questions or share info is to write it on the white cards on Sundays. This is how we share prayer requests and update address/phone info. That's a great way to tell the entire staff something. You can also email each of us - check the ACC Staff page for email information.

4. What's the best way to get information?

You're looking at it! The website is a great way to start. Here is a list of other ways to stay in the loop!

newsletter cover

- we have a mass email list where we share prayer requests, needs, and a weekly eBulletin. You can sign up for it by calling the office at 254-2651 or by clicking here.

- Worship Folder: on Sunday morning there is a worship folder available with information current for that week including classes, training sessions, and big events

- For detailed information about any topic, just call the office! (812)254-2651

5. Why don't people dress up more for services?

Our church is very focused on people who have never been to church, or people who have had rough experiences with church growing up. We do everything we can to make people feel comfortable. Check out OUR VISION to learn more.

6. Won't I get lost with so many people?

One of the most important things about attending a larger church is getting involved in a small groups. Small groups provide the things that we all need for an active relationship with God - accountability, fellowship, and people to "do life with."

We encourage everyone to jump into a group. To find out more about our small groups see our Small Group section under the ministries portion of this website.

7. Why don't you pass the offering plate?

II Corinthians 9:6 says "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." We decided that all our giving (time, talents, energy, and financial resources) should be given in a way that reflects joy and not guilt or compulsion.

Since then, we initiated "joy boxes" so people could give joyfully in an unforced or uncoerced manner. Each Sunday morning we have our "joy boxes" set up around the auditorium for people to give whenever they are ready.

8. How do I become a member at ACC?

We hold regular "Membership Chats". These times are an opportunity for someone seeking membership with us to learn about the church and to discover how to become a member. You will have the opportunity to meet a staff member and an elder. They will explain our Membership Covenant and what it means.

This chat is a great place to ask any questions you may have. Check the events page to see when the next Membership Chat is scheduled, or email antioch@acclife.org if you are interested in pursuing membership with us.
